Essential Educational Qualification For SSC CGL Exam
For most of the CGL post, Only Graduation are required. There are some other posts which requires as specific qualifications which are mentioned below. SSC CGL Syllabus is also important things to know before applying for the Exam.

For Assistant Audit/Accounts Officer CGL Post Education Qualification :-
As an Essential Qualification a Bachelors Degree from a Recognized institute or university is required.
The candidate is required to be a Chartered Accountant OR Must Possess a masters Degree in, Cost and Management Account, commerce Business Administration, Finance or Economics.
Please note That:Direct Recruits in their probation period shall have to qualify the Subordinate Audit Service Examination. in their respective branches for confirmation and regular appointment.
Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) CGL Post Education Qualification :-
The Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Any subject from a Recognized university or institute with a minimum of 60% in Mathematics at senor standard.
A Bachelor’s Degree in any Subject with Statistics Subject at Degree level.
Other miscellaneous Posts of CGL Education Qualification :-
A Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university
If appearing in the final year of Graduation, may also apply but must possess Essential Qualification on or Before 01-08-2018.
Education qualification For Data Entry Skill Test or Computer Proficiency Test :-
The candidates who have qualified this test, should produce relevant certificates as Mark sheets for all three years of Graduation or Provisional or Certificate of Graduation in Original for a proof that the minimum educational qualification is acquired on or before 1st August 2018.
A Failure in the above process may lost the candidature cancelling by the commission.
If through documentary evidences the result of the qualifying examination is declared on or before the cut off date, that the candidates is declared passed, he/she may be considered to meet the educational qualification.
What are Nationality or Citizenship Eligibility Criteria For SSC CGL Exam ?
The Candidate must be :-
(a) A Citizen of India by birth.
(b) A Citizen of a neighboring country(Nepal, Bhutan, etc.) OR Any country which has affable relations with India, OR Indian born but settled elsewhere in the world, would be eligible with intentionally and permanently settling with citizenship in India.
In accordance to point “B” Provide a Certificate of Eligibility issued from the Government of India.
Relaxation Criteria For SSC CGL Exam :-
A candidate whose certificate of Eligibility is required necessarily, may be permitted in the examination, but the appointment will be given strictly on providing the necessary certificate of eligibility issued from the Government of India.
Age limit Structure & Criteria For SSC CGL Exam
The age limit to be requited on 1st August 2018: In this criteria the age of the candidates would be calculated in accordance with 1st August 2018.

Important Note :- The date of birth mentioned in the certificate matriculation or secondary examination, strictly and only will be accepted, by the commission for determining and calculating the age. Any request for a change in the date of birth will not be considered at all.
Permissible Relaxation in Upper age limit For SSC CGL Exam :-
The Upper age has been categorized according to codes for relaxation. as on the date of reckoning (01-08-218).

|For Group “C” Posts(a) Code is 09 Who have served regular and continuously not less than 3 years as on the closing date for receipt of application.(b) Code is 10 While those who belong to Schedule Castes or Tribes||(a) The Upper Age limit is Relaxed upto 40 Years. (b) The Upper Age Limit is Relaxed upto 45 Years.|
|Code is 11 for The candidates who had ordinarily been living in the state of Jammu & Kashmir during the period From 1st January 1980 to 31st December 1989.||Have been give a relaxation of 5 Years in the upper age limit.|
|Code is 12 For Female candidates who are widows, divorced or judicially separated but are not remarried. and are not in Schedule Castes or Tribes.||Are Relaxed with 35 Years in the upper age limit.|
|Code is 13 for The Female candidates who are widows, divorced or judicially separated but are not remarried and belongs to SC/ST.||Their Relaxation in the Upper Age limit is 40 Years.|
|Code is 14 for Candidates who are Disabled During any kind of operation against a foreign country or a disturbed area are relaxed and not belongs to SC/ST.||3 years relaxation.|
|Code is 15 For Candidates who are Disabled During any kind of operation against a foreign country or a disturbed area are relaxed and are belongs to SC/ST.||8 years relaxation.|
|Code is 16 For Service Clerks who do not belongs to SC/ST, are in the last year of their color service in the Armed forces.||Are relaxed with 45 Years.|

For Females :-

Important Note :- Relaxation For Females in Height by 2.5 CM, Weight by 2 Kg for Gorkhas, Garwalis, Assamese, ST.
Physical Fitness for the post of Sub-Inspector in (Central Bureau of Investigation and National Investigation Agency) Through CGL Exam :-
Height For Men : 165 CM
Height For Women : 150 CM
Relaxation For Hillmen and Tribal = 5 CM
Chest only Men 76 CM with Expansion.
Eye Sight :-
Eye Sight with or Without Glasses.
Distant 6/6 in one 6/9 the other Eye.
Near 0.6 in one 0.8 the other Eye.
The Physical fitness test will be conducted by the concerned Department.
Fulfillment of Specified Physical Measurements = Eligibility for The respective Post.
Unfit in Fitness – No Request considered.
SSC CGL Exam Application Fee and Mode of Payment :-
A Fee of Rs. 100/- can be paid through SBI Challan/SBI Net Banking or using visa, master or debit card.
Females and those belonging to scheduled castes or Tribes and Ex-Servicemen eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of fee.
- Applications received without the prescribed shall be rejected.
- No Provision is there for any representation against such rejection.
- Fee once paid remain Non Refundable and Non Adjustable in any circumstance.
- SSC Candidates must ensure that their fee has been deposited with SSC.
- If not received by SSC, The status of Application form would show Incomplete and can be verified at Check your Application status.
