SSC CGL Tier 2 is also an Objective or Multiple choice question type paper. If candidate clears the Paper 1 then he/she will be eligible to attend the CGL Paper 2 (CGL Tier 2).
SSC CGL Tier 2 Exam Contains the Four (4) Papers. Means There are total 4 Papers held during complete Tier 2 Exam. There are 2 Papers Named Quantitative Ability (Paper 1) and English Comprehension (Paper 2) Compulsory for all the candidates. SSC CGL Tier 3 :-
SSC CGL Tier 3 is a Pen & Paper Mode Examination that means The SSC CGL Tier 3 is a Descriptive Paper. Tier 3 is not Optional or Objective Paper like the Tier 1 and Tier 2 CGL Exam. This CGL Tier 3 Paper can be given in Hindi and English Medium. Total Marks for The SSC CGL Tier 3 Paper is 100 and Total time is 60 Minutes.

SSC CGL Tier 4 :-
SSC CGL Tier 4 is a Data Entry Skill Test (DEST) and Computer Proficiency Test (CPT). Both the tests are done according to the priority of commission. Only selected post’s candidates are invited for the DEST and CPT. Not all the candidates are invited for CGL Tier 4.
Important Note :- Some times the CGL Tier 4 is also called a Document Verification and Interview For Selected Posts of CGL.
Mode of Selection For SSC CGL Examination :-
Candidates whose online Application are accurate and in order will be asked to face the Level I computer based Examination. Admit Cards for any stages of Examination will not be sent by Post. Rather they will be issued Online on the website of the concerned Regional /Sub-regional office of the commission under whose Jurisdiction the examination centres demanded by the candidates is located.
- Those who have faced the computer based examination (Level I) shall be sorted, category-wise according to the marks scored, to appear in level II examination.
- The Commission shall have the powers to fix (Minimum qualifying marks) separate cut-offs for each component of the examination (Post of JSO-Paper III; Assistant Audit officer and Assistant Accounts officer-Paper IV).
- For the process of sorting candidates to appear in level III (Descriptive paper) the aggregate performance in Level I and II examination shall be considered.
- Those who have crossed the Cut-off in Level III shall be sorted to face the Document Verification and skill tests namely computer proficiency Test (CPT) and Data Entry Skill Test(DEST).
- A failure will not be chanced for the posts where CPT/DEST are required.
- The candidates can either online or at the time of document verification request for a preference in post.
- care has to be take when the preference is request. at this moment, it is treated final. (As in Chemistry, it is not reversible). Any chance of a change in preference at this stage is like Changing Curd into milk.
- Un relaxed standards :– The eligible SC, ST, OBC, Exs, PwD candidates who are selected on their own merit (un relaxed) shall be separately occupied in the suitable reserved vacancies. They will be accommodated against the overall merit for their category whichever is advantageous.
- Relaxed Standards :- Those who are under Relaxed Standards in age limit, experience or qualifications, number of chances 130 of consideration, irrespective of merit position(SC,ST, OBC, ExS, PwD) are set under reserved vacancies to the extent of their quantity or number to make up for the deficiency in the reserved quota.
- A disabled selected on own merit can be appointed in an unreserved vacancy, if the disability is of relevant category.
- Success in the examination does not conform the right to appointment unless the government is satisfied about the suitability of the candidate in all respects for the service or post.
- Please Take care:- Those applying for the examination should be sure to fulfill the eligible, conditions for admission. the admission remains provisional at all stages. On Random Verification at any time or any stage if the eligible conditions are not fulfilled, the candidature will be cancelled.
How SSC CGL Exam Tie-Resolution Works :-
By Chance the scores of the candidates in all the examinations (Level I + II + III) tie up, the situation becomes absurd and awkward. In such abnormal cases, merit would be calculated and decided through the following process.
a) The aggregate of the marks obtained in the examinations would be rechecked.
b) According to the date of birth, the older candidates would be preferred and Of course in Alphabetical Order.
Thus the Tie may be resolved.
Procedure for Final Selection in SSC CGL Exam :-
Prior to the declaration of the result of Level I, The confirmed number of Requirements or vacancies in the departments, offices or cadres in government are filtered according to which the selection is finalized.

As all candidates apply for SSC Combined Graduate Level Examination Must note that all The Eligibility Criteria are Must be followed before applying for SSC CGL Examination. What are Nationality or Citizenship Eligibility Criteria For SSC CGL Exam :-
The Candidate must be :-
(a) A Citizen of India by birth.
(b) A Citizen of a neighboring country(Nepal, Bhutan, etc.) OR Any country which has affable relations with India, OR Indian born but settled elsewhere in the world, would be eligible with intentionally and permanently settling with citizenship in India.
In accordance to point “B” Provide a Certificate of Eligibility issued from the Government of India.
Relaxation Criteria For SSC CGL Exam :-
A candidate whose certificate of Eligibility is required necessarily, may be permitted in the examination, but the appointment will be given strictly on providing the necessary certificate of eligibility issued from the Government of India.
Age limit Structure & Criteria For SSC CGL Exam :-
The age limit to be requited on 1st August 2018: In this criteria the age of the candidates would be calculated in accordance with 1st August 2018.

The Upper age has been categorized according to codes for relaxation. as on the date of reckoning (01-08-218).

Essential Educational Qualification For SSC CGL Exam :-
For Assistant Audit/Accounts Officer CGL Post Education Qualification :-
As an Essential Qualification a Bachelors Degree from a Recognized institute or university is required.
The candidate is required to be a Chartered Accountant OR Must Possess a masters Degree in, Cost and Management Account, commerce Business Administration, Finance or Economics.
Please note That
Direct Recruits in their probation period shall have to qualify the Subordinate Audit Service Examination. in their respective branches for confirmation and regular appointment.
Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) CGL Post Education Qualification :-
The Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Any subject from a Recognized university or institute with a minimum of 60% in Mathematics at senor standard.
Option
A Bachelor’s Degree in any Subject with Statistics Subject at Degree level.
Other miscellaneous Posts of CGL Education Qualification :-
A Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university
OR
If appearing in the final year of Graduation, may also apply but must possess Essential Qualification on or Before 01-08-2018.
Education qualification For Data Entry Skill Test or Computer Proficiency Test :-
The candidates who have qualified this test, should produce relevant certificates as Mark sheets for all three years of Graduation or Provisional or Certificate of Graduation in Original for a proof that the minimum educational qualification is acquired on or before 1st August 2018.
A Failure in the above process may lost the candidature cancelling by the commission.
If through documentary evidences the result of the qualifying examination is declared on or before the cut off date, that the candidates is declared passed, he/she may be considered to meet the educational qualification.

SSC CGL Exam Application Fee and Mode of Payment :-
A Fee of Rs. 100/- can be paid through SBI Challan/SBI Net Banking or using visa, master or debit card.
Exemption :-
Females and those belonging to scheduled castes or Tribes and Ex-Servicemen eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of fee.
Rejection :-
- Applications received without the prescribed shall be rejected.
- No Provision is there for any representation against such rejection.
- Fee once paid remain Non Refundable and Non Adjustable in any circumstance.
- SSC Candidates must ensure that their fee has been deposited with SSC.
- If not received by SSC, The status of Application form would show Incomplete and can be verified at Check your Application status.
SSC CGL Exam Document Verification Process :-
- Candidates who have been qualified for Document Verification are necessarily required to put forward all the relevant document in Original for verification.

- A Failure at Document Verification may lose any post in final Selection.
- Options for posts shall be either on line or at the time of document verification.
SSC CGL Computer Based Examination General Instructions :-
- Please Answer the Question in your own Handwriting.
- Wherever necessary , weights and measures of metric system will be used.
- Completely Prohibited inside the venue or Examination Premises = Mobile Phones, Calculators, electronic gadgets.
- Under Mischief or wrong intention :- If a candidate is found possessing any mobile phone, wireless communication or related accessory in working or Switched off mode. Permission shall be cancelled and penalized in accordance with the policy of the commission.
- Uses of unfair and fraud means shall debarred from the examination in future and may be under criminal prosecution.
